| Additional Information Our client is creating over 200 automotive research, development and design jobs in the East Midlands, with their investment in a new Research Centre focusing on powertrain, transmission and hybrid electric vehicle technology. To support the launch of this brand new facility, opportunities exist for commercial and technical specialists with experience for the following opportunity: This newly created post reporting to the Chief Engineer will play an important role in the development and validation of integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems. Key responsibilities will include designing system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications, calibrating sensor interfaces and diagnostic strategies, supporting engine and vehicle testing at third party facilities and providing input in to system and hardware FMEA. Ideally the successful candidate will be degree qualified in an automotive, electronic or mechanical engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience of integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems. Preferably candidates will have developed their careers in an automotive OEM, R&D, engineering consultancy or tier 1 environment. Qualifications must be supported by relevant recent experience. |
