| Additional Information Our Client is at the forefront of automotive research, development and test for whole vehicle engineering, low carbon vehicles, intelligent transport systems and vehicle safety. As part of a dynamic new business development strategy, they are currently building sales in new sectors and global markets in addition to developing their competencies in specialist emerging technologies. As part of this strategy, an opportunity has been created for a Business Development Manager to work with new and existing customers to secure new (both automotive and non-automotive) vehicle safety engineering business. This will include the business development of test and engineering consultancy services in specific areas such as; whole vehicle, components and structures crash testing; crash simulation and analysis (CAE) services; occupant and pedestrian protection test and engineering services. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a wealth of vehicle biased safety engineering programme expertise, preferably gained within an automotive OEM, major Tier 1 or engineering consultancy environment. The position would suit an Engineer / Programme Manager / Business Development Manager with experience of winning and delivering vehicle biased safety programmes or a commercially minded engineer looking for a more customer facing / business development focussed position. This position is commutable from Warwick, Leicester, Tamworth, Hinckley, Rugby, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Coalville, Solihull, Northampton, Redditch, Banbury, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth. |
